Never Underestimate the Power of a Kickass (Batch) Margarita Recipe
Because all good things are better when shared.
About last night...
First, and foremost: never underestimate the power of a kickass margarita.
Furthermore: never underestimate the power of a kickass BATCH margarita recipe. Because all good things are better when shared.
This is a derivative of my classic#MamaMargaritarecipe, and it’s a mega fun and delicious crowd pleaser.
#MamaMargarita Batch Pineapple Margs, Serves 4 (or 2 adults sans little people, or 2 adults with zero f*cks):
1 c Tequila (Milagro blanco is excellent quality and value)
1/2 c premium orange liqueur (Contreau does a lovely job)
1 c pineapple juice
Juice from one large lime
100% agave (I gave it ~2-3 tsp/squeezes, since the pineapple and Contreau already sweeten it up)
Pinch sea salt
Blend/shake/mix serve on rocks with salt. Adjust non-booze adders to taste. Can also blend with a few ice cubes or sub 1 c frozen pineapple chunks for juice to create a more frosty blended marg — this mama is a rocks-salt fan
Sip slow, acquire enough ingredients to repeat a few times 😉
You can thank me later. Happy Cinco de Mayo.
PS: I also recommend whipping up a batch of these bad boys and dropping them on favorite neighbor doorsteps for funzies, because it’s important to#ThriveInQuarantinetogether (ladies, the margarita fairy is coming next round 🧚♀️).
