The holidaze have arrived!

Here are 60 gift ideas that are perfect for the #BossMom in your life. And just in time for Cyber Monday, and alllll the current insane sales. It would have been released earlier but…#WorkingMomLife + #MomOfTwins shenanigans + #holidaze…so here we are ✌🏻

Experience Gifts & OG Gift Cards/Certificates:

  1. A gift certificate/card (“gc”) to watch the kids, at a time of her choosing so she can do whatever she wants.

  2. Nordstrom gift card and stylist appointment (free!). If you haven’t experienced this free Nordstrom service as a working mom, you are truly missing out. Perfect for any upcoming work or life events when you need something nice and new to wear.

  3. A gift card to a fancy AF foodie store. A gc to a fancy AF foodie store. Like, Eataly. Even if you don’t live near NYC Flatiron, Chicago, NYC Downtown, Boston, Los Angeles or Las Vegas where they’re located, the gc is still good for their online store.

  4. A gc to a delish date night dinner spot with a promise that the gift giver finds the childcare.

  5. Family favorite takeout spot gc, for an easy weeknight dinner.

  6. Spa gift card.

  7. Mani/pedi gc. Gentlemen: this is different than a spa experience, in that this can be scheduled as an easy in/out service.

  8. A Cheesemonger gc. If you don’t have a cheesemonger nearby, a gc dedicated to the cheese section of Whole Foods is perfect.

  9. Dry bar/blowout gc.

  10. Local wine shop gc.

  11. A gc to her favorite hipster coffee shop, for those days when she’ll need a quick and easy pick me up.

  12. Concert/entertainment tickets. Pick a 2020 a show she’ll love — comedy and music are always a big hit in our house!

  13. Professional cleaning service. We all need this, especially after the holidays.

  14. A planned mini getaway. Get creative. Go big. Especially if next year is a milestone year for your relationship or a birthday.

Creative/Customizable Gifts:

  1. A desktop photo calendar with fam pics for her office. Shutterfly & Artifact Uprising have fantastic options.

  2. A book of all kid art from 2019. You can literally box up all their art and ship it away with ARTKIVE, they will take professional photos of it and make a book. OR you can take pictures yourself, and hit up Shutterfly and make your own keepsake book.

  3. Any photo gift for her office. Put her kids face on something for the office. Moms love parading around with things that encourage people tell them how cute their offspring is.

  4. Commissioned art of a family/kid photo. I cannot get enough of Amy Kavs work through her Bloom Prints Studio. And cannot wait to commission her for a custom painting.

  5. A Custom House Portrait. Many options and mediums (painting, print, sketch, drawing) to choose from on Etsy.

  6. Custom Silhouette Portrait of Kids. Etsy and Minted have easy-to-make and affordable options (hand-cut, painting, portrait, digital). Love these ones.

  7. Something Monogrammed. Like a clutch, makeup bag, bathrobe, fancy bathroom towels.

  8. Kid Name/Mom-life jewelry. Doesn’t have to break the bank. Kate Spade makes adorable 12k gold letter necklaces. Etsy has awesome options — I love this custom bracelet/necklace; you can use your own handwriting or one of their fonts.

  9. Giant Canvas Tote with the family name on it for the beach. Love LL Bean tote & bag options.

  10. Digital Frame. Just discovered the Skylight Frame, which is a touch screen photo frame that you can upload photos to right from your (or her) phone and/or email. Into it.

  11. Yeti beverage vessel. Will keep your coffee, or any hot/cold beverage, at the perfect temperature even with any and all kid distractions and derailments. Now you can even customize it.

  12. Home Address Stamp. Big fan of the quality and price point of stamps from Expressionery.

Straight Gifts:

  1. Growers Champagne. Better quality and value than the main stream bubbles. Head to your location wine shop, and ask for a rec.

  2. CBD Gummies. CBD has been touted for a variety of health issues — like to treat chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia. Currently trialing this Highline Wellness brand, thanks to a rec from @SerenaGWolf. Learn more about CBD here, and check out this article from the Harvard Medical Review: “Cannabidiol (CBD) – What We Know and What We Don’t“.

  3. A Pillow Upgrade. Lots of options…down, down-alternative, memory foam, plush/medium/firm…choose your own adventure! Brooklinen has some good options, and this pillow is another good one according to LynzyAndCo.

  4. Dry Shampoo. Batiste (has ‘hint of color’ options to match hair) and Living Proof PhD are my favorite. Both come in mini sizes, which are great for travel.

  5. A nice piece of carry on Luggage. The AWAY carry-on bags are pretty bad@ss, and the perfect splurge for your traveling diva.

  6. Scrunchies. They’re back baby! And they’re perfect for the off-hours mom bun. Jcrew, Madewell & LuluLemon have some fun options this year.

  7. A festive/obnoxious/classy serving platter. Think: plastic, ceramic, stone or wood; bonus points if it’s dishwasher safe. So that when we inevitably have to snag store bought goodies we have a statement piece to put them on; brands/places to acquire this: Target, Macy’s, Crate & Barrel, Kate Spade (like this), Villeroy & Boch (like these).

  8. Wireless headphones. I love my Beats by Dre, Powerbeats3.

  9. Lululemon anything. It’s probably time for all of us to update a legging or athleisure piece, and you can’t go wrong with anything LuluLemon.

  10. Boss Mom mug for work. Like this one or this one. I love Etsy.

  11. A classic Filson flannel. Classic, cozy, timeless, very PNW, and comes with a lifetime warranty.

  12. Premium chocolate. Think: Single Origin. Or Hu Bars, Theo Chocolate, Vosges — yes, the $5-$10 bars. Or even a box of Godiva.

  13. Anything leopard.

  14. A Peloton bike.

  15. A Nespresso Machine.

  16. An Instant Pot. We love our Duo model.

  17. “Girl on Fire” by Cara Alwill Leyba

  18. New Perfume, that you thoughtfully picked out.

  19. “200 Women: Who Will Change The Way You See The World”. A collection of stories and interviews from rockstar women around the globe. This is the only coffee table book she needs.

  20. Any “Fearless Girl” Wall Art for the office. There are a lot of options on Etsy & Amazon. Click here for more on The Fearless Girl and how she came to be, and learn more about The International Day of the Girl.

  21. A Waterproof Wireless Speaker. Great for any and all beach/pool activities. The JBL Flip 5 is our jam.

  22. Truffle salt. Must have 10% or more truffles; make sure it’s legit, like this one.

  23. Le Creuset Dutch Oven, or Baking Dish. I can’t get enough use out of our 3 1/2 Quart Braiser.

  24. Facebook Portal+ or Alexa Show, for all your video chatting needs. We’re into the Portal+ with the kids, because it has a smart camera that pans/zooms/moves to follow the little people around.

  25. Phenomenal Woman Tee. It’s a movement we should all be part of. This T-Shirt not only makes a bold statement, but it also supports xxX. In fact any and all net proceeds from the awesome t-shirts on this site support women’s action campaigns and organizations.

  26. A Music Subscription Service for the year. Like Spotify Premium or SeriusXM.

  27. A fancy Essential Oil Diffuser. I like the ones that look more artsy and less diffuser-y. Like this Pineapple Essential Oil Diffuser from Pottery Barn, or this Odoga Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser.

  28. Vitamix.

  29. Dyson Supersonic hairdryer.

  30. A heated blanket. Because who doesn’t like to be cozy? Into this budget friendly one, and here’s a good lineup of the The 8 Best Electric Blankets of 2019.

  31. A fabulous lipstick. Like one from Giorgio Armani, Dior or YSL…the ones that often feel like too much of a mom-splurge, and when you do you feel fabulous. Choose a fun color you think she’ll like — and include the receipt just in case 😉

BOOM! Happy shopping!

xx, Danielle
